Your planet in 7 seconds: Arms Wide Open

Take in this breathtakingly long arm span in this short and snappy time span.

by G Adventures Posted on 18 March 2014

This week, we've got seven seconds for one of the world's new seven wonders—Rio's Christ the Redeemer Statue in Brazil. If you're ever lost in the streets of Rio, cast your eyes upward to the 93-metre statue — its right arm points to Ipanema Beach while its left arm points to Maracana, the world’s largest soccer stadium.

Amazing things happen on this big blue planet of ours every day, and when they do, G Adventures is there to capture them. "This is Your Planet in 7 Seconds" is a mini-feature to showcase those wild, weird, and wonderful things. Just give us seven seconds and we'll show you the world!

Getting There

G Adventures runs a number of departures in Brazil encompassing a wide range of departure dates and activities to cater to different tastes. We’re thrilled at the prospect of showing you this big blue planet of ours — check out our small group trips here.
