Visual Adventure: Guyana

If you're looking for an adventure of the ecotourism variety, Guyana fits the bill. It's got a happening Caribbean feel in its urban center, but the outskirts are full of untamed jungles, wild animals (river otters!), and all kinds of sights rarely seen by typical tourists. We decided to go deep into the heart of Guyana for this latest 'Visual Adventure' and give you a taste of what life is like in this beautiful South American country.

Speeding along the Burro River to Karanambu Ranch with our host, Diane McTurk. She's a local legend widely known for her work in rehabilitating orphaned giant river otters.
View over the savannah near the Amerindian community of Surama. Very few tourists here, with wonderful people and lush vegetation.
