The object of our long weekend in Scotland was principally to learn the basic skills necessary for a successful trip into the Atlas mountains. For me as an above-knee amputee, however, I also wanted to find out if I could use crampons. I am very relieved to report that my fears about not being able to participate in the upcoming mountain adventure have been allayed – I can walk in crampons!
Bring on the next instalment of my amputee-adventure!
